Cyclist struck by vehicle in Leslieville dies of injuries
A cyclist struck by a vehicle in Leslieville has been pronounced dead, Toronto police say.
The collision occurred near Jones Avenue and Dundas Street shortly after 8 a.m.
Police say the cyclist was struck by a truck in the area and his injuries appeared to be critical.
According to paramedics, the man, who is believed to be in his 30s, was taken to a trauma centre for treatment. He was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the vehicle involved in the collision remained at the scene.
